In July we were invited to Piggyfest for the first ever festival celebrating the furry potato. The Guinea Pig. There were talks, more talks, wheeks and squeaks as we got to know these little fluffballs. As Zoe has always kept guinea pigs she was in her element. The organizers, Haypigs, were once featured on Dragons Den with their piggy related items. Needless to say we came back with a lot of goodies for our four furry potatoes which they are still munching through.

This year we were lucky enough to be the photographers at one of the cutest festivals in the world. A festival devoted to Dachshund's. Lots of little sausage dogs running amok and we were there to capture the action. We were even given our very own half of the media tent to set up a studio to take "Pawtraits" of the little four legged fella's looking their very best. The studio session was a first for us and we did learn a lot on the day, there were many teething errors. Zoe

Today we were the official photographers for the Stubbington Fayre which takes place every year in the August Bank Holiday. Hosted by the Crofton Lions Club the event features stalls, games and the famous Donkey Derby. The event was opened and closed the the Mayor of Fareham, Tina Ellis. Zoe has been a regular at the event for years and her father used to show some of his vintage motorcycles at the event. We Volunteered to bring the camera's down and cover the event for free

Well... What can I say? The first ever PiggyFest was awesome! Informative talks by incredible experts, lots of piggy loving businesses with some really nice products specifically for piggies, loads of freebies, a trail through Jimmy's Farm to the Piggy Village, and to top it all off..... I have been commissioned to take some high resolution images of the Strand Map Mural in Southsea. The painter has been a friend of mine for some times and we have worked together, although on slightly less favourable circumstances, which led to my images being published on the front page of Portsmouth News! A couple of weeks ago we worked at the Overlord Show in Denmead. The man who secured us the job, a drone pilot himself, got in touch with us just a couple of days ago and told us he has another job for us at Gosport but it was a hush hush job. All we knew was it was something to do with the Coastguard, where to be, and what time to be there. Nothing more. We had an amazing time at the Bournemouth Bug Show! So many weird and wonderful creatures to see. We even came home with a few. It was lovely to speak with the stall holders, they were full of knowledge and showed a real passion for their trade. We had a fantastic long weekend at The Overlord Show and met so many amazing people and vehicles. We were lucky enough to get a pass for the Dan Byrne concert in Southampton so off we trundled to Southampton. It was match day for the football club so parking near the venue was impossible.
