I'm on the Map!
If you have been keeping up with us you would know that we were recently commissioned to take some high resolution images of the Strand Mural. A big dynamic map of Portsmouth painted by the Art and Soul Traders. In return Mark, the man behind it all, offered to paint John "Pinky" onto the wall. Southsea has had a naturist section of Eastney beach since 1944 and Mark did make a joking comment about needing to paint someone naked on the beach. Of course Pinky, with his sense of humour, was more than happy to volunteer for it. As of today you can visit the mural yourself and see Pinky in all his glory on Eastney Beach! Of course we had to preserve what little modesty he has so a tactically placed camera was also added. Below is the step by step video of the process of painting a naked man on the Mural.
